About Aimee

 Aimee found joy in the art of needlework from an early age. Beginning with sewing lessons and cross-stitching,  over time she honed her skills until eventually hand stitching became her favorite pastime.

Using a variety of fabric scraps, upcycled clothing, and other repurposed textiles, each piece is carefully hand stitched in her uniquely imagined designs. Her freehand mix of traditional embroidery and boro style stitching, along with the use of bold color palettes, cannot be missed. Every patch, brooch, and upcycled garment is wonderfully one of one. 

Aimee has had the opportunity to showcase her work in a way she could never have imagined. Designated as an Artisan for Italian threadmaker Aurifil in 2023-24, she  celebrates the deeper connection to the broader creative community and continues to be inspired to create more. 

Through her one-of-a-kind work, Aimee hopes to leave a mark on the world of textile art.
